Potholder Mania!
Have fun, learn a new skill and stretch your creative self while using up stash. Bring in 3 + potholders you have made this month (cotton or wool, please no acrylics, they burn too easily). Fun contest, show off and exchange.
Bring in your county fair items.
July 10
Turkish Cape (Vogue pattern # 16 Turkish Cape, fall 2005)
Lois will talk about the construction of the cape and will get us started.
Supplies:
pattern, yarn, needles, swatch, OR to learn the technique, yarn and needles only.

August 14
Pick up those edges
Nazee will show us a way to pick up edges so that there would be no unsightly bumpy edge shown even on the wrong side.
Supplies:
1. A swatch worked in Garter stitch 4” to 6” square in a light color preferably in worsted or sport weight yarn. Bind off the swatch but do not cut yarn. 2. Knitting needles.
September 11
Socks, Socks and more Socks
Bring in socks you have made or are working on. Unusual construction, favorite patterns, sock secrets, finishing touches, toe up, top down, DPN’s, magic loop, two circulars, two socks on two circulars, favorite sock yarns, etc.
October 9
Lets talk Charity knits, and bring in your items

November 13
Favorite needles and tips for care
Bring ideas, your favorite needle container(s), protectors, etc.
